Shrek (Movie Review)



a modern fairy tale full of excellent humor, Shrek is a computer-animated film for the ages. In the tradition of Disney (the recipient of a clever jibes throughout the movie), Dreamworks manages to create a film that adults (not just parents) will enjoy as much djece.Komedija is clean, witty, and osvježavajuće.Animacija was mind-blowing, and the characters are nice as any ever created.

The story follows the life of Shrek (voiced Mike Myers), green gin with a friendly schedule that lives in a swamp in the Middle Ages. When everything is so short, midget nobleman Lord Farquaad (John Lithgow) banishes all fairy tale creatures from the local government of their country, they are forced to move to Shrek's swamp. Shrek, who want to live in solitude, moving, accompanied by a wise mule named Donkey (Eddie Murphy), to find Lord Farquaad and convince him to leave the fairy-tale characters where they belong, and leave him to leave his swamp alone. Lord Farquaad accepts the honor of Shrek and Donkey request on one condition. The Odd Couple has to find the beautiful Princess Fiona (Cameron Diaz), and brought back to Duloc so he can marry her (he chose her as his bride over Snow White and Sleeping Beauty because she wants to become king). The story (basically Beauty and the Beast) is timeless, and comedy manages to stand on its own in a film that pushes the outer-limits of excellence. Eddie Murphy is in his best game of Donkey, and Mike Myers may also have to put in his best film performance to date. Shrek is one of the few animated films ever made, which should be seen by adults without children (in other words, those who otherwise would not have bothered to see the animated film).
